Downtown Cleveland Alliance surpasses 8 years managing North Coast Harbor

Downtown Cleveland Alliance surpasses 8 years managing North Coast Harbor

 

CLEVELAND March 12, 2020 –  Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA) surpasses 8 years of management services for North Coast Harbor. Early this month the City of Cleveland Department of Port Control and DCA solidified the contract tapping the 501c3 for another four -year services agreement to continue the marketing, events, property management and clean & safe programming at the lakefront.

“It is vital that we keep the momentum going with our efforts at North Coast Harbor” said DCA President & CEO Joe Marinucci, “our team values the relationship with the City and the stakeholders at the harbor- our collective goal is drive people to the lakefront.”

Mr. Marinucci also mentioned a key part in winning the contract goes to the Downtown Cleveland Alliance’s Ambassador program, “our operations team is great, they are continuously looking for any safety issues and addressing them immediately.” In addition, Joe added that, “our North Coast Harbor Project Manager, Jessica Kerr, has been our district representative since 2013, she knows the event producers, stakeholders- complexities of programming the space.” He also gave praise to the Cleveland Small Business, Guide Studio, continuing their work as the district’s marketing and brand consultant.

The contract selection process is handled by the City of Cleveland with the release of the RFP followed by a community meeting. An internal board evaluates and scores each proposal. DCA has serviced North Coast Harbor since Spring 2013 and will continue services until Spring 2024.
