Beginner Bocce: Learn to Play Nights!

The newest activation to North Coast Harbor’s summer line up, Beginner Bocce: Learn to Play Nights! Join us at the beautiful outdoor bocce courts in Voinovich Park (Downtown Cleveland), and learn the tips & tricks of playing the oldest game known to mankind.

Brought to you by the City of Cleveland and Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Beginner Bocce is a FREE class for all ages. All participants MUST register via EventBrite (click here) and complete a waiver at check-in with organizer at the beginning of the session. Instructors will break the participants up into 4 teams of 4 players to teach the game as it is played. Limit to 16 players per session.

Sessions are Thursday evening from 6:30pm-7:30pm, May 23th through June 27th.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to particpate?

No age requirement.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

FREE parking will be located at North Coast Harbor North Port Lots (access from Erieside Avenue, #1 on map)North Coast Harbor District Map

  • WALKING from Dock 30-32 to Voinovich Park:
    • Head East towards the Mather Steam Ship, follow waters edge South around the inner harbor passing the Great Lakes Science Center and Rock Hall and leading you to E9 pier
  • Meter parking on E9th Street and Erieside are free after 6PM.
  • Parking on the E9th Pier is monitored 24/7, parkers pay by hour with credit card or exact cash.
